GRACE ATWELL ARTWORK

Today’s fresh premiere comes direct from Brighton-based singer-songwriter Bess Atwell‘s – and hers is a name you really should have heard of by now.

Fresh cut “Grace” is a plucky Aplin-esque offering, blending undulating melodies with floating four-part harmonies that can’t help but enchant. The follow-up to the infectious “Swimming Pool” (well worth a listen if you’ve got a spare second), the cut spirals steadily upwards, with folk-tinged undertones steadily bubbling away throughout.

A cut deliciously crafted with delicacy, “Grace” well and truly serves up a light-as-anything feast for the ears. It’s the easiest of listens – one well worth a few moments of your undivided attention.
