Caezar

A building offering of the most DIY kind, CAEZAR have arrived and they’re ready to take your headphones by storm.

Invading with the sonic tenacity of a bat on steroids, fresh cut “Waiting” is a true diamond in the rough. An infectious feast from start to finish, the track features surging verses and a nifty hook of a chorus that’ll have you tapping along for days. It’s the quintessential hold-onto-summer track, melding synths and electronic elements alongside a raw smattering of indie-pop.

Waiting was written about the frustration of unreciprocated affection,” note the band of the track. We had the idea of the song based around the idea that you can’t always help who you fall in love with. The track was always a crowd favourite when performed live and the infectious hook came to life in the studio. It’s quickly become the band’s signature song.

For those who recognise the voice behind its utterly infectious vocal lines (nope, your ears weren’t deceiving you), you’ll be recalling the sound of Chris Quigley, former vocalist of One Stop favourite Quigley. His latest venture was born out of a conversation on a Rugby pitch back in 2014 (who’d have thought, eh?), formed of Chris himself, guitarist Rich Gills and vocalist Zoe Dwyer.
