Rich Aucoin

If synth smattered dance pop sounds like the perfect start to your Thursday, look no further than Canada’s Rich Aucoin.

Recorded in Toronto, fresh cut “The Middle” was recreated from memory after much of the track was lost following the theft of his computer. Harbouring a fierce electronic undercurrent, the latest release blends soaring melodies with enough bold and infectious hooks to fuel this musical force of nature.

You see, not satisfied with simply holding down a successful music career, he’s biked across Canada for charity, run half-marathons for a heart & stroke foundation in between tour dates and hopped off his tour bus in cities across Canada to record an album featuring over 500 musicians. I think it’s safe to say Rich Aucoin doesn’t do half measures.

A track focussing on self reflection and mid-life experiences, “The Middle” features a searing rhythm you can’t help but allow to take control. It’s euphoric, it’s relentless, it reaches blissfully heady heights.
