Arms Akimbo have returned – this time, with a larger arsenal of musical weapons than ever before.
Over the course of 2016, the LA-based 4-piece became favourites of ours. Their One Stop debut came in the form of the storming “Little Insensitive“, a track with enough hooks to land a flippin’ Great White with your eyes closed.
Their follow up, “Miscommunication“, once again boasts a charmer of a chorus, merging Schrupp’s distinctive vocals (a sound I liken to hard drugs – in the best possible way) with an altogether slower tempo. These boys have got the art of building bridges down to a tee – and we’re not talking about the bricks and mortar kind. It’s snappy, it’s soulful and more than anything, it’s a record you need on your November playlist.
