Hailing from little old London Town, singer/songwriter Charlie Freeman, aka FREEMAN, has unleashed his latest creation upon this here world.

Fresh cut “Get Me Started” melds breezy guitar riffs with laid back rock ‘n’ roll undertones. The result? A track reminiscent of warm summer evening spent lazing about without a care in the world.

Harbouring delightful flecks of funk-infused 70s nostalgia, the cut channels the double edged sword that is romance and heartbreak. The follow up to recent offering “London Nights”, FREENAN’s latest cut is unleashed ahead of his forthcoming album, Love, due for release on 30th September.

Of the track, FREEMAN remarks: “‘Get Me Started’ is a groove-based tune with a funk vibe, quite different in style to other tunes on the record. My reference was ‘Miss You’, one of my favourite Stones tracks, which they dropped during the disco fever of the late 70’s.”

Upbeat and fun, it’s an out and out party anthem designed to give you a good singalong, get your feet tapping and your body moving,” he continues. “I persuaded a DJ to slip the song on recently at a busy club and I’m very happy to say that the dancefloor went wild! That was an awesome thrill.”
