The second installment of our ‘A Decade Ago Today’ series is here and it’s making us feel older than ever.
Although – like us – you may be in denial, it was in fact a decade ago today that Gorillaz released their single “Dare“, a track with a gore inspired video that sent kids to bed with nightmares. Having amassed over 28 million hits on YouTube over the past ten years, this was a track deserved of the number one spot.
With heads that looked like a cross between Frankenstein and a torture device Jigsaw could have conceived, the Gorilla boys certainly knew how to make an impact. Damon Albarn was onto a great thing.
