It’s that time of year again… London Fashion Week is upon us which means that we have a mixture of musical and fashion madness in store for you lovely lot! The One Stop Record Shop ventured over to the East End of London to experience the ultimate mix of tunes and tunics at Beyond Retro.
We were not only served a wonderful array of music from the likes of White Fever who kicked off the afternoon in style, but also entertained by the indie-folksters Hunter & The Bear as well as the days headliners Caviare Days who flew in from Sweden just for the occasion.
With some haunting riffs and storming drum fills, White Fever entertained the ever growing crowd as they mingled amongst the racks of never ending vintage clothes with a Kopparberg in hand (event sponsors). Hunter & The Bear captivated the audience with their foot-stomping folky sound and then came the headliners. Caviare Days took to the stage with all the energy of an african stampede (or swedish in this case). The room was buzzing as the female fronted band commanded the room. With catchy riffs, tight arrangements and that chorus you just can’t get out of your head, they are definitely one to watch!
