So news has just surfaced of a site called Aux.com who have just invented a plug in called nickelblock (three guesses what its in relation to). The plugin is designed to remove all traces of the band Nickelback from the users web brower.

The band have always been surrounded my mixed public reaction, lead singer Chad Kroeger being voted the ugliest man in rock and a petition by 50,000 american football fans who wanted to try and stop the band playing at half time during the thanksgiving match between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers.

Surely these guys are just loveable arena rockers? I mean they haven’t exactly had a bad career. Having produced seven studio albums and sold out arenas the world over shows that there are definitely some people out there who are fans of these furry rockers.

But really, what is it that turns the public off these fury rockers so much?
