Saturday was that fateful day when England goal keeper Robert Green fumbled his way into the history books. Jamie Carragher was quoted as saying “The rest of the lads will get behind him” and to be honest I think they may need to be, physically, in the future with performances like that. Rumors of dodgy dealings in relation to certain commercial break timings and the minor fact that 1.3 million viewers MISSED OUR ONLY GOAL have been heard everywhere from twitter to Timbuktu. Setting all that commotion aside, another event happened that same evening involving one man by the name of Riverhart and a collection of unmissable songs.

In a small venue in Wimbledon gathered a small but enthusiastic crowd. Alex George Gill aka Riverhart, strummed away with eclectic chords and a soulful voice that captivated even the most lackluster members of the audience. Describing his sound as, “…A pastiche of soul, art and life of middle class britain in the twenty-first century, bridging gaps of traditional and modern music, based on folk, pop and classical.”
