Yet another Scandinavian export ready and waiting to seep through our headphones, Mountain Bird, AKA Adam Öhman, has arrived – and he’s brought company.
Joining forces with songwriter and vocalist Lara, the Swedish producer has unleashed “Moment”, a track blending soaring melodies and fierce beats from its opening bars. It’s a synth smothered offering to be sure, topped off with metallic highlights that can’t help but please.
“Lara and I started working on the song’s topline together. Back then we were in a period of time where we needed to learn to leave things behind and focus on the future…” notes Öhman of the track. “So many things happen in your 20s, so the better you are at handling the moment and moving on from those situations, the better everything will turn out.”
Ripped kicking and screaming from Mountain Bird’s new Cubism EP (released April 27th) the track is a synth heavy, future-pop offering that can’t help but infect.
