The musical cauldron has been bubbling over this week (excuse the puns, but bloody eh, it’s Halloween!) and we aren’t complaining in the slightest.
From Gwen to MØ, the videos being served up are scarily good, but none more so than the potion Tove Lo has concocted in the form of her new video offering “Moments“.
A track dripping with delicious pop hooks and soaring choruses, the accompanying video shows the star being dragged down hallways by guards, before being psychoanalysed in a counseling session.
Trove can be seen downing pills in a glutinous rage, before dancing away from the scene. The backstory begins to unravel before us, documenting a drug addiction intertwined with gun crime, violence and highly dramatised action sequences.
It’s bright, it’s dramatic, it’s Tove Lo and then some.
