After sites like Rolling Stone claim to have word direct from Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker in response to DeLonge’s supposed split with the band, we are currently unsure who to believe. Rumours surfaced earlier this evening regarding DeLonge’s departure from the band but in recent hours the Blink-182 bassist as spoken out about the breaking news. According to DeLonge these remarks are totally unfounded and the supposed ‘official’ press release was faked. It does make you wonder where these rumours come from and it’s concerning how quickly they can spread like wildfire over social media.
