This weeks video offering comes in the form of Tyler Ward and his dulcet tones covering Maroon 5’s single “Sugar” with a little help from an acoustic guitar (and a pretty sweet view of a Californian valley to tie in with the lyrics). This man can do no wrong when it comes to covers, all he needs is that cheeky wink and the ladies come-a-running – a skill I wish I possessed, alas, I’m sitting alone at my computer with a beer for company. As I was saying, this cheeky chappy consistently wracks up over 250,000+ views a video and is a big player on the YouTube music scene. Ward visited London in November 2013 – having played a number of gigs on this side of the Atlantic – and we are certainly awaiting his return to the UK sometime soon. Trust us, it won’t be long before he’s back over here stealing our women and drinking our beers – we can only hope he stays away long enough to give us mere mortals who lack quiffy hair and dreamy eyes a look in!
