Unleashing a vibrant romper in the form of “Holiday“, the alt-pop landscape has a fresh new face. LARKS, AKA singer-songwriter Fiona O’Kane, blends dreamy melodies and whimsical guitar lines to craft a dulcet pop banger of the highest order. The cut is a blend of rough ‘n’ ready and deliciously sweet, a sound that’s sure to catch your ear.
“I was becoming frustrated, I wanted to expand and push my songwriting for quite some time and I realised that I needed to make some changes in my approach to music in order to figure out my identity as an artist,” LARKS notes.
Fresh cut “Holiday” was was born out of quite literally that – renting out a house by the sea with three friends and no wi-fi. As debut’s go, this is a pretty feisty offering.
