Hozier’s last single “Take Me To Church” is a track that upped attendance at the house of god by nearly 200% nationally, we suspect it was simply because people sought refuge from their radios after hearing it on repeat for 3 months straight. OK, so not all of the above facts are technically true or accurate, but one thing that we do know is that “Take Me To Church” made its way steadily up the single and music video charts around the world, boosted by a dramatic ballet performance directed by Sergei Polunin in a warehouse that went as viral as the winter vomiting bug.

Hozier’s latest offering is a little less dramatic but still packs a pretty cinematic punch in the form of Game Of Thrones’ and The Tudors actress Natalie Dormer. The melodic gospel-esque vibes can still be heard echoing through this track, although there is certainly a more laid back feel to it and you’ll find yourself bobbing your head along to it’s reverberating chorus. The video features Dormer prowling the streets and pouncing on unsuspecting men in their masses. As the track reaches it’s final bridge, Hozier sings “I’m in love with every stranger, the stranger the better”, by which point we have simply lost track of the number of poor men seduced by the GOT star.

This is one dark, seductive video with a track that is no doubt on it’s way to the top of the charts worldwide. Definitely worth a watch and that is exactly why it’s One Stop Record Shop‘s Music Video Of The Week
