Justin Timberlake has officially returned, announcing his latest musical offering in a 60 second online video.
Depicted as a rugged mountain man, the clip sees Timberlake marching with purpose across cornfields, hilly terrain and desolate landscapes. It’s a far cry from his slick 20/20 Experience aesthetic, pairing raw visuals with a variety of soundbites ripped from his fresh musical catalogue.
The new album, entitled Man Of The Woods, is set for release February 2nd – mere days before his Superbowl halftime show. “This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written, where I’m from – it’s personal,” notes Timberlake in the clip’s voiceover.
