It’s filthy, it’s amped up and it’s called “Decades” – the latest offering from The Dirty Clergy boys.
A clear progression from their debut EP Breakdown, these boys from Winfield, Alabama, have definitely decided to ramp things up a gear. It’s a place where rough’n’ready guitars merge with hook filled choruses big enough to sink your teeth stuck into. Reminiscent of a modern reworking of Razorlight, blended with undertones of The Smith’s, “Decades” is taken from the band’s latest album Rattlesnake, released July 1st.
We don’t mean to put a downer on things, but it’s about as close as you’re going to get to euphoric sunshine in London this summer – a bloody good alternative if you ask us…
Ahhh, more of this in the world please! Where is this on the BBC Radio?!
we quite agree, Jessica!
Zane would have been all over it, and rightfully so. Sounding great.
