What is it with the Foo Fighters and their ability to turn everyday events into viral videos?

We’re not usually ones to feature the same artist twice in one week, but on this occassion we thought we’d make an exception. You see, part of our love for Dave Grohl comes from the fact he’s never one to keep quiet over issues he believes in. Well, that alongside his downright wicked sense of humour. So it comes as no surprise that in true-foo style, when word spread about the notoriously homophobic Westboro Baptist Church’s picket outside the bands Kansas City, Missouri show, Grohl and Co. came to the rescue – with a little help from Rick Astley.

For those of you new to the concept of RickRolling (despite it being around since 2010), the basic idea involves internet users clicking on a link and unwittingly being directed to a video of Rick Astley’s hit “Never Gonna Give You Up”. It may have been around for half a decade, but trust us, it never gets old.
