So, I’m not going to lie. I am NOT a movie critic of any kind, neither am I a visual professional of any sort, shape or form… I do, however, have some sort of taste (or so I keep telling myself). Whether I’m right or not, you guys are free to judge me for what I’m about to present to you…
In my (un)humble opinion, I have just witnessed one of the best visual music videos of the year! It’s magnificent, hypnotic and beautifully shot from start to finish! The London-based band called flies+flies have recently released an official video to their new single Bad Crab Hand (I actually don’t like crabs either, but I do love the song) and to make the long story short, I was blown away!
No wonder though, since the video has been made by a Bafta-winning team of creative arty dude types from a company called Mr. Kaplin. Apart from working with the likes of MTV, Samsung and Channel 4, they teamed up with flies+flies to make a picturesque experience of huge proportions! And they have utterly succeeded on every level!
