If you’re after indie-pop hooks by the dozen and a top-notch video to boot, Norwegian outfit Kid Astray are the act for you.
Returning after a flurry of releases to deliver their latest electronic anthem “Fall To My Knees“, the track teams infectious hooks and euphoric summer vibes. With influences ranging from MGMT to Passion Pit, the band’s intentions of creating huge pop tunes has guided them through the precarious minefield that is the music industry.
“Håkon drew stop motion animations on it in the style of the single cover,” remark the band.“We played this totally packed gig at Samfundet in Trondheim earlier this spring… Right before the gig we got this idea that we wanted to make a music video out of it, showcasing the artwork for the single with animations and stuff.”
Planning to return later this year with a brand new EP, Kid Astray are yet another band cementing Norway as one of the world’s leading pop powerhouses.
They already have released an a full LP, and have only 1 EP released so far. Fall to my knees is not an EP but a single.

Thanks for taking the time to comment! The article does state that ‘Fall To My Knees’ is a track rather than an EP but thanks for keeping a keen eye on things. Additionally ‘flurry’ refers to the suddenness of the release as opposed to labelling it as a mass. 🙂
