Taking pride of place on the recently released album Caracal, “Magnets” sees Lorde’s ominously mellow tones join forces with the dub-powerhouse that is Disclosure.
The video sees the New Zealander transformed from a white witch-esque figure observing party goers, to a red lipped Matrix-style vision of seduction, complete with leather cat suit and trench coat. Following a story of betrayal and deceit, the dark narrative culminates in Lorde discarding her love interest in a pool before she tosses a lighter which sees the surface of the water go up in flames.
