If you like your Mondays indie-shaped, fret not, for we have a hearty-as-hell helping for you in the form of “Only The Lonely“.
MRYGLD (pronounced like those infamous golden gloves) is an indie rock band from the thriving music hub of Birmingham, Alabama. Formed in early 2017 by Brandon Snipes (vocals/guitar) and Shane Jewell (lead guitar), the band are unleashing infectious melodies, driving rhythms, and anthemic guitar riffs with the help of Alyssa Jewell.
The follow up to “Cool Kids”, a cut released earlier this year, 80s infused pop offering “Only The Lonely” is a dulcet earworm.
“Sometimes it’s a matter of financial necessity, but I think we tend to prefer to have as much control as we can creatively. We self-produce all of our material, screen our own t-shirts, and are currently in the process of wrapping up a few more singles and videos,” states Jewell.
