Society Of Beggars are an outfit producing music that’ll make you consider smoking.
Not in the ‘it’s gonna kill ya’ sense of the word, more the 40-a-day-esque gravelly vocal tone produced by frontman Yianni Michalopoulos.
Crafting eclectic blend of husky vocals and rhythmic guitar lines, their latest offering is thoroughly rough around the edges – and a product reminiscent of rock greats The Stereophonics.
“It’s that joyous feeling of journeying into a big night with friends from the past and present, and maybe some aren’t around anymore, but there’s a hopefulness that you can always channel that feeling together.” remarks the Society Of Beggars frontman of the single.
