Anyone who’s anyone will be fully aware of the music industry’s recent obsession with the 80s – a wave that shows no sign of crashing anytime soon.

The latest band channeling the spirit of Brian Cox in all his keytar glory are Cali natives The Millennial Club. Fresh cut “Give It Up” is smattered with the spirit of dream pop, blending fierce indie infused vocals with slick, electronic melodies.

Everyone from early revivalists The 1975 through to more rock orientated acts like Paramore have jumped on HMS Synth-Heavy in recent years, a trend that we at One Stop Record Shop are particularly pleased about.

The band’s accompanying video is directed by Brad Michael Wong and channels the 80s aesthetic in all its nostalgic, pastel glory. Throwing flecks of The Japanese House into the mix alongside Drive-esque visuals that could see Ryan Gosling appear at any moment, this is a track worthy of a listen. Check out the vid below and let us know your thoughts on this
