You know how much we love giving a helping hand to great new events in and around our beloved London Town – which is precisely why you need to get your scrawny, hipster (and non-hipster) butts down to Hackney Summer Festival.
Taking place on Saturday 7th July (yup, that’s tomorrow), it’s time to celebrate in the sunshine!‘The Paddock’ – a DJ stage crammed with great cuts a-plenty – will be unleashing a list of names that include Visions Festival, Lion Coffee + Records, Cafe Miami, Kyri (R2 Records) and St John Sessions, it’s set to be a day of unadulterated sunshine and blissful tunes.
Music aside, there will be plenty of food and drink to choose from this year including, The Pie Cart, Hoxton Beach, Raclette Brothers, Aroy D. Thai, Boxty, Makatcha and special stalls from vegan/vegetarian cafe on Lower Clapton Road, Lele’s, and cakes/ices from Cafe Miami. Let’s put it this way, I can feel my waistband expanding already…
As if that wasn’t enough, there’s even a mahuusive after-party taking place so you can dance the raclette away. Be sure to head down to Field Works for all the action, but remember: RSVP to hello@suncutrecords.com first otherwise some big burley bloke with blooming big biceps will cause you hell.
