TRACKS OF THE WEEK casette

No weekend is complete without the perfect soundtrack to accompany it – and that’s precisely where we come in!

This week’s One Stop Playlist ranges from indie-rock through to alternative and roaring pop tracks. Shoos Off are kicking off proceedings with a relaxed pop choon in the form of “Ranger“. Blending bouncing vocals and a laid-back summer vibe, there’s no reason NOT to give it a spin. Climbing Trees have unleashed another pop banger, sending us into a soaring frenzy with their latest cut “Lost“. Perfect for those long summer days, the track’s building chorus is one not to be missed.

Angharad Drake has arrived with her latest cut “Baby“, a subtle and sentimental track that blends delicate vocals with a refreshingly quaint twist. A must add track for those easy-listening playlists. Brighton four-piece Safe To Swim (loving the coastal theme) have offered up “Pretty In The Morning“, featuring an intro that blends Ainslee Wills-esque instrumentals with altogether rockier vocal lines. A nice little foot tapper to liven up your bank holiday weekend.

Aussie giants Chase City have thrown “A-N-X-T‘ into the ring this week, serving up a hearty dose of unrelenting indie-disco. Trust us, it’s the ultimate hype track for the long weekend ahead! Wildera leave us hanging with “The Only“, a track that blends arena-worthy “woa-woa”s with thoroughly infectious guitar lines. Packing bubbling energy into 2 minutes 30 of delight, cracking. “Weekend Mountain Man” is the latest cut from LA act Former FacesOf the track, vocalist Ryan Parmenter remarks, ‘Weekend Mountain Man’ is an anthem for anyone longing to escape, however briefly.” Now, that’s my sort of escapism.

Topping the weekend of with Air Traffic Controller, Huxlee, Bryce Fox, Von Grey and Thøss, things are sounding good and the weather’s looking clear! It’s time to check out a host of great new music!
