'HOTEL' - Edward Sansom

Today’s delicious exclusive comes in a rough ‘n’ ready form courtesy of Brighton native Edward Sansom.

Fresh cut “Hotel” is a steadily building show of force from the British newcomer, lacing infectious pop melodies with intense guitar elements. It’s a track delightfully embellished with helpings of raw harmonica, creating a track that, despite feeling a little on the raw side production-wise, shows immense promise when it comes to crafting soaring indie pop anthems.

“I aim to create a melancholic euphoria within my songs – to show a listener the dark and the light and do it in a relatable way” – Edward Sansom

The final song set for release for his 4-part soundscape, previous tracks “Sweet FA”, “Livin’ it Up” and “Fake” tell a winding story of modern society. “Hotel” continues this narrative, capturing the feeling of isolation that has becoming an ever-increasing phenomenon in modern society.
