Made A Fire

Shrouded in surging indie riffs and resonating synths, the latest offering from Amaroun is one not to be missed.

Fresh cut “Made A Fire” is ready to infect us with whimsical indie pop. Unrelenting and accompanied by a smattering of hooks, this latest release is a subtle blend of defiance and quirky charm.

Travelling to Paris in a bid to unleash a new, complex identity after coming out, Amaroun has subsequently crafted a host of emotionally explorative songs delving into sexuality, obsession and the myriad conflicting undercurrents of city life.

“When you meet that person and it just connects instantly and you can’t deny it. It’s something that’s hard to describe but the feeling is amazing. The song is simply gratitude in music form for this person/feeling.” – Amaroun

Having previously collaborated with Ed Sheeran and Bastille, Amaroun is currently in the process of crafting a collaborative EP with the likes of Slow Club, Denai Moore and LA Salami that’s set to drop this year.
