bloodboy pop alt review Hey Kid

bloodboy pop alt review Hey Kid

Quintessential alt-pop is better than any caffeine fix. It’s basically a rule or something.

That being said, what better way to wake you up than a large shot straight out of sunny LA. Bloodboy, aka surfer-turned-musician Lexie Papillion, is a sweet dose of originality. Her sound? A wonderful melting pot of defiance.

Merging the punchy attitude of progressive post-punk with some slick and sultry pop ideals, “Hey Kid” nestles itself in a sparsely populated musical void. In other words, it’s as authentic and catchy as they come.

We’ll be keeping an eye trained on this space. You should too.
