If dream-rock sounds like your kind of thing, then it’s time you gave Crystal Cities a few moments of your undivided attention.
Hailing from Sydney, Australia (there seems to be a theme emerging this week), these chaps have just unleashed “Binary Eyes” – a dreamy and reverberating track that melds intense guitar riffs with soaring, infectious choruses.
The accompanying video is just what the doctor ordered. Winding their way through a hedge-lined maze, the band go on a bit of an adventure – before things get a bit trippy. Somewhere between the statues coming to life, the fact that said statues fancy a bit of a ramble, and then the fact everyone gets chased down by a crazed pony (the pony’s actually kinda cute, that just made it sound dramatic and we liked it), it’s an intriguing old visual.
