Plus, the track’s accompanying video certainly strands up to scrutiny. A polished affair with a strong and seductive narrative, the visuals see Vallee go from seductive vision to blood doused murderer in three minutes flat.
“We wanted to show a totally different side of the story in ‘Numbers’,” notes Vallee. “The script is very dark but still with a touch of humour. That’s what I love about it. I wanna show the secrets we have, the real truth about dark inner thoughts that we don’t wanna reveal because we’re ashamed… I’m kind of the devil in their minds who tells them ‘your secret will be safe with me’.”
