HAUS, an en vogue quintet bred in Tottenham (evident from their alternative Germanic tag), have once again unleashed a genuine gem.
Taken from their inbound EP SWYSEP, “Say What You Say” is outright fire. Via their fresh track, the band wanted to “address the self-contradictory system we live in today… a world built from thought, but it’s almost frowned upon to think outside the box.”
The follow up to the instantly infectious “Gave You All“, the band have once again taken up the ambitious task of radicalizing the indie-rock genre with prominent hip-hop and electronic undertones. Still, Ashley Mulimba’s meticulous vocals alongside vivacious guitar riff’s pepper the song with a vintage Rock and Soul vibe (you’ll be melting back into the 70’s), a sound reminiscent of established artists like Foals and Swim Deep.
The boys have just announced a host of highly-anticipated tour dates, playing across the UK from 21st – 26th April. They boys are also manning the BBC Radio 1 Dance Tent at Reading & Leeds festival this summer, so be sure to catch them in action!
