More than just an anagrammatic wonder, Iffy Orbit (clearly giving Biffy Clyro a run for their $$$) is a Norwegian band taking psychedelic pop to a new level.
Blending galactic synths with funky basslines, the music teleports listeners to an intergalactic destination. Latest cut, “Not Good Enough”, is about living up to expectations. When everyone has their eyes on you, the track depicts how the pressure to perform can make or break you. When things go wrong, it feels like a bad dream.
“Our first album ‘Slow Times’ reflect on our adolescence, growing up, slowly moving on into adulthood,” notes the band. “It’s a difficult time, learning about your place in the world, what you want to do and how you spend your time, and the sacrifices you have to make to get where you want. It’s an album by youths, for youths.”
