Late Night Episode

Infectious non-conformity is the order of the day, courtesy of the devilish lads of Late Night Episode.

An emphatic dose of twenty-first century indie-rock, latest cut “Golden Age” merges infectious hooks with a suitably retro aesthetic. Bouncing guitar lines intertwine with catchy pop cries of “We’re all living on the internet / Oh well, everybody missed out“. A track that comes accompanied by a superbly vintage Skins-esque video (picture Cook and Freddie on a bit of a joyride), these US lads have undoubtably come up with the goods.

“I had the lyrics for the hook of ‘Golden Age’ written for a while before the instrumental came along. I wanted to remind people that even though the internet is a wonderful world of its own, 2017 is the most opportune time to be alive and to live, you have to get out and do shit.” – Lonner.

“As for the making of the music video, we worked with our homie Patrick Golan to create the visual, which was shot on 16mm film. We wanted to capture the beauty of the places we hang out and grew up”.

Formed in New York City’s East Village by lead singer Daniel Lonner and guitarist Eric Sherman, Brett Daniel (drums) and Giovanni Stockton-Rossini (bass) soon joined the party, completing the band’s line-up in style.
