Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Northern National are a indie/ alt-rock band to keep on your radar.
Latest cut, “MoneyBlind” blends funk undertones with a guitar led, laid back vibe. Having already appeared on Spotify’s Discover Weekly and Viral 50 Playlists, their sound draws parallels with big hitters like X Ambassadors, Catfish & The Bottlemen and Kings of Leon to name a few.
“To us, it’s a warning and reminder that however much success we achieve – to not sacrifice the people, morals, and loved ones that matter in your life to achieve that success,” note the band. “The road might be slower, but it’ll be worth it in the end. Don’t be ‘MoneyBlind’.”
Although still in their infancy and with a little way still to go, the band are creating a sound filled with promise.
