OUTLYA Higher

If infectious verses and souring choruses are your cuppa jojo, then look no further than “Higher“, the latest offering from up-and-comer OUTLYA. Produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat (The Vaccines, Scissor Sisters, Radiohead), the track is a thunderous and euphoric summer anthem.

The follow up to debut track,”The Light”, this latest offering blends the sincere pop flecks of Bastille with an thoroughly soulful undercurrent (and vocals reminiscent of Example). Needless to say,  OUTLYA’s latest cut is well worth a moment of your time.

“Higher is a song about that place we all go to when things get grim. It’s a song with a simple message: sometimes it’s ok to retreat into our own imaginations,” Will, AKA OUTLYA, explains, “We wanted the track to sound bold and have this huge vocal sound like Pastor T L Barrett and the Youth for Christ Choir.”

Kicking off 2017 with a UK support tour with Frances,  OUTLYA can be caught at a plethora of festival dates starting with Live at Leeds, followed by The Great Escape, Bushstock, Barn on the Farm, Latitude, Standon and Kendal Calling to name but a few!
