Pale Honey have released their first single of 2016 – and it’s as effortlessly sexy as the Swedish pair’s name.
The hotly-tipped female duo, who’ve been praised by the likes of Stereogum and NME, are producing heavily distorted, indie-rock sounds for the listening masses. Stepping straight out of Gothenburg studios, their nervy new single, “Real Thing“, is an absolute cracker.
The track is comparable to a sexually pent up daydream, with its alt-rock vibes, a steady rhythmic guitar riff and sensational lyrics. Pale Honey show promise, with a sound that’s both punchy and unerving – just how we like our love songs.
