RIVVRS

Showing your Monday blues the door, today’s smokey offering is raspy Americana in its purest form.

Introducing the delightfully raw tones of RIVVRS, AKA Brandon Zahursky, a singer-songwriter bristling with soul. Fresh cut “Let It Die” sounds like the result of a 30-a-day habit, blending driving guitars with a wholesome, southern-inspired edge. Angst-filled lyrics intertwine with melancholic undertones to create a track worthy of inspection.

“Sometimes you let things go, other times you just let them die” – RIVVRS

Ripped straight from RIVVRS fothcoming album, Cosmic Dream, the track melds haunting guitars with an intriguingly sinister undercurrent. Accompanied by a driving beat that steadily steers this track down a dusty, retrospective road, the offering would feel right at home on any cinematic soundtrack.

“Sometimes you let things go, other times you just let them die, notes RIVVRS. “‘Let it Die’ was the first song I wrote with singer-songwriter, Joshua James, the co-producer of Cosmic Dream. At the heart it’s a break-up song, but it’s more so about that feeling of reaching your limit in life and you realise something needs to change.”
