Silver WIlson

If you’re desperately in need of summer vibes in the midst of this grim British weather, look no further than this fresh offering from northern trio Silver Wilson.

Their name may sound as though they’re your grandads best mate from Bingo, but don’t let that fool you, these chaps are anything but. Latest cut “I’ll Be There” combines building verses with plentiful helpings of Kygo-esque euphoria.  It’s a track that serves as an up-tempo pocketful of sunshine (in the most hipster, overly distressed denim sort of way, obviously).

Starting life in late 2015, this trio have added a distinctly American twist to their indie frame – a genre that’s traditionally regarded as a UK staple. Blending plucky guitars and lively basslines, the band have already built up a loyal following. If you thought the ‘danceable indie’ baton had been left in the hands of The Wombats, think again.
