Indulging our ears courtesy of copious amounts of reverb, “Playboys” is a track that requires you to turn the volume up to 11. Beckoning in a new wave of new-wave, their raw and ready sound invokes the essence of rock greats like Debbie Harry and New Order whilst treading their own, distinctive path. It’s a guitar-heavy affair, laden with hooks-a-plenty and bass lines that will cause you to foot tap like it’s going out of fashion.
Comprised of siblings Charlotte Fontaine and Hank Fontaine, alongside drummer Chrystian Kaplan and bassist Daniel Zuker, the group have well and truly set about world domination.
