It’s time to inject your week with a healthy dose of synth laden indie, courtesy of San Fran native Vacances.
Vacances, AKA Danny Lannon – now producing electro doused hits direct from the golden state of Los Angeles, CA – is serving up a searing offering in the form of fresh cut “Callin’”.
Following a decade fronting US rock band The Frail, Lannon is clearly branching out into pop pastures new.Pairing Hot Chip-esque 80s highlights with a funk-pop baseline reminiscent of Calvin Harris (less T-Swift 8-pack phase, more skinny Scot with a penchant for disco), it’s a catchy little offering if ever we saw it.
