A supreme blend of relentless percussion and folk tinged indie-rock, Campfire Social have returned with a track fit for Summer.
The latest offering from the Chester five-piece, “Breathe Out Slowly” melds joyous vocal lines with fervent, up-tempo instrumentals. Melodically, the track appears to be an overwhelmingly sunny affair, however, the lyrics tell somewhat of a differing story.
“The single ‘Breathe Out Slowly’ is about telling yourself that everything is fine when inside you know it’s not.” notes songwriter Tom. “[It’s about] putting on a brave face when inside you’re drowning.” ‘
