If, like myself, you’re the type of person who enjoys husky vocals at their finest (think 40-a-day washed down with a packet of strepsils) then Brad Fillatre is most certainly the man for you.
Combining the mellow strum of an acoustic guitar with heartfelt lyrics that make James Blunt look like a walking cliché (ok, so that one’s a given), “Strangers” is a track so laid back it’s positively horizontal. With beautifully simple harmonies and delicately dreamy arrangements, this is a track to add to the ‘I’m heartbroken, now pass me a tissue‘ list.
