If funk infused indie-pop sounds like your cuppa coco, then it’s time you caught up with Leeds trio Silver Wilson.
Hailing from the northern heartlands of indie, the group – comprised of Brandon Hill (vocals/guitar), Elliot Labbate (bass) and Tom Girling (drums) – formed in late 2015 and have since churned out bangers at a rate of knots.
Fresh cut “Let You Go” is no exception, bundling fierce hooks, soaring choruses and guitar riddled melodies into a three-and-a-half minute package. It’s a downright infectious offering, one that led us to question: Who ARE Silver Wilson?
Needless to say, One Stop Record Shop decided to head north and discover a little more about these pop newcomers. From split trousers to a car full of chip packets, it’s time to delve into their world.
