It's OK To Punch Nazis Cheap Perfume

If Nazi hating feminist punk is your forté, look no further than the bold scent of Cheap Perfume.

Kicking white supremacy in the balls with a sledgehammer, latest cut “It’s Okay (To Punch Nazis)” is a slogan we can get on board with. Comprised of members “Jane No” (vocals) and Stephanie Byrne (vocals), as well as David Grimm (drums) and Geoff Brent (bass), the band brings more to the table than just punchy, playful attitudes.

It’s a hearty dose of aggressive shout-singing – a sound reminiscent of our recent offering from The Rocking Horse Club. Covering a plethora of topics (sounds fancy, eh?), this foursome explore race, sexuality, identity, equality, violence, politics to name but a few.

Since their 2016 debut album, Nailed It, the band is preparing to unveil their latest creation. Like much of Cheap Perfume’s music, “It’s Okay (To Punch Nazis)” manages to balance mischievous charm with hard-hitting depth, using recent racist, sexist, transphobic, and xenophobic attacks as fuel for their fire.
