The follow up to previous cut “Look What You Made Me Do” – a track which sent the internet into a Right Said Fred frenzy – T-Swift has returned with a slick pop offering in the form of “Gorgeous“.
It’s safe to say “Gorgeous” is a track for the masses, featuring her signature hooks, hum-along choruses and lyrics that turn Taylor from international popstar to crazy old cat woman in 10-seconds flat: “I guess I’ll just stumble on home to my cats… alone…”.
Needless to say, we’re excited to see the track’s accompanying visual (mainly for the comedic value of seeing Taylor pick up a donna in Kentish Town’s Norther Delights kebab shop where she was spotted last week).
Sure it’s a slick offering, but there’s definitely something lacklustre about her latest string of releases. Has Max Martin lost his magical touch? We’ll just have to wait for Reputation‘s release. Only time will tell…
