If you’re after a song that does what it says in the title, then indie-pop masters AJR well and truly take the biscuit.
Their new single “Weak” quite literally makes us go to jelly – for all the right reasons. Hooky pop vocals are paired with synth-heavy (yup, we’re not usually fans of that word, but can make an exception in cases like this) instrumentals, but don’t let this clean-cut description put you off. There’s a strangely nostalgic edge to this modern sound, building impressive hum and arena-worthy choruses that will have you pissing off your co-workers all day.
