As a music blog, we receive a host of weird and wonderful videos on a daily basis. That being said, some of the offerings are decidedly weirder and far more entertaining than others. Introducing a new segment we like to call “WTF Videos Of The Week” – a concise round-up featuring the oddest visual offerings we’ve come across in recent days.
Gena Perala – Hip Hop & Cartoons
Seamlessly blending original lyrics – “We can fuck and watch The Simpsons / Make it like some new tradition / Every Sunday like clockwork” – with lines containing far too many syllables to audibly hear (check 0:30 out for size), this cartoon-hybrid video is so bizarre it’s borderline brilliant.
Artificial Pleasure – I’ll Make It Worth Your While
While strange submissions come in all shapes and sizes, this offering from Artificial Pleasure is not just slick, but thoroughly entertaining. The batshit crazy video – suitably set in a psychiatric ward – features slick visuals, a frustratingly catchy pop beat and pretty engrossing narrative.
Ancsel & The Reggae Rebel Band – Jump Out
Featuring a pretty rad animation and boss whose face looks like a cleanly waxed arsehole, this track from Acsel & The Reggae Rebel Band is enough to blow away those morning cobwebs. OK, so we actually chanced upon this one, but needless to say, it’s pretty damn entertaining.
