Like countless other tip top pop offerings, Amanda Mair is a Scandi native overflowing with talent.

Hailing from Stockholm, the vocalist has just unveiled her latest cut, AA side “Rush” and “Wednesday“. The former is a dark and contemplative offering, fit for our finely honed ears. Introduced as a piano ballad, the song turns cold with chilling Trentemøller synths and an unnerving tone.

Paired with “Wednesday“, the track features the underlying essence of a beautiful and atmospheric swan song. Unleashing a cinematic quality, the track reveals aching emotions and fierce contemplation.

Her debut single, “House”, grabbed the music world’s attention as a mere teen. Half a decade on, she’s doing it once again, this time with a thoroughly mature offering.

““Rush” is about when passionate attraction and destructive addiction allows you to repeat the same hurtful mistake over and over again,” she notes. “While “Rush” paints a picture of the continual restless searcher, “Wednesday” allows you to take a step back and realise the tedious truth of one reality you’ve fallen in love with.
