It’s dark, it’s string-laden, it’s a crackling and soulful affair. Anderson East is here and it sounds as though he’s yet to pack in a 40-a-day habbit.
Starting off proceedings with reverberating synths and a soaring string-section, “All On My Mind” is an impassioned affair. The fiery new track sees him step up to the plate, throwing more hooks at us than we are physically able to handle.
The accompanying video follows the gritty story of a wayward boxer. Paired with East’s cries of “hanging on white knuckle grip”, the narrative culminates in a fervent and sweat-filled fight. Striking both in terms of tone and visuals, “All On My Mind” is a track not to be missed.
